Fees
Each session is €60.00.
Payment may be made by cash or by bank transfer at the end of each session.
I can also accept Debit/Credit card payment.
INSURANCE: If you have a private health insurance policy, it will usually provide some coverage for mental health treatment. I will assist you to the extent possible in filing claims and ascertaining information about your coverage. Health Insurance Care plans often require advance authorization, without which they may refuse to provide reimbursement for mental health services. If I am not a participating provider for your insurance plan, I will supply you with a receipt of payment for services, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please note that not all insurance companies reimburse for out-of-network providers. If you prefer to use a participating provider, I will refer you to a colleague.

HOW LONG WILL THE THERAPY PROCESS TAKE?You are in control of how long the therapy takes. Much depends upon the nature of the issue and the commitment of the client typically there are eight to ten sessions. One scheduled session per week.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE FIRST SESSION?Typically the first session is an opportunity for you to give an outline of the issue that brought you to therapy. Remember, you are interviewing me for the job of your therapist. It is natural for you to feel some anxiety prior to the session but this shouldn’t last long.

HOW LONG DOES A SESSION LAST?Up to 60 minutes.

WILL OUR CONVERSATIONS REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL?Confidentiality is crucial for therapy and everything that passes between us will be regarded as strictly confidential. There are extraordinary exceptions to this which concern your safety and the safety of others which we will discuss at our first session.
